    •

2.3 Information received from others

    • We may receive personal data from:
– payment providers, couriers and logistics partners;
– online marketplaces and social media platforms through which you contact or buy from us;
– analytics, advertising and website-service providers;
– distributors, manufacturers or brand partners where this is needed to handle an order, warranty, complaint or product-safety matter; and
– publicly available sources or business contacts.

3. How we use personal data

We may use personal data to:

– process payments, orders, deliveries, returns and refunds;

– provide customer service and respond to enquiries;

– create and manage customer accounts;

– send order confirmations, delivery updates, receipts and other service messages;

– provide product information or recommendations requested by you;

– investigate complaints, warranty claims, adverse reactions and product-safety concerns;

– manage product recalls and meet applicable regulatory or safety-reporting requirements;

– administer promotions, events and loyalty activities;

– send marketing communications where you have consented or where the law otherwise permits;

– understand how our website and services are used;

– improve our products, website, customer experience and business operations;

– personalise content or offers, where permitted;

– protect our website, customers and business against fraud, misuse and security threats;

– maintain business, accounting and tax records;

– establish, exercise or defend legal claims;

– comply with applicable laws, regulatory requirements and lawful requests; and

– support a proposed sale, restructuring, investment or transfer of all or part of our business.

We will not use personal data for a materially different purpose without giving you appropriate notice and obtaining consent where the law requires it.

4. When we may collect, use or disclose personal data

Under Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”), we will generally collect, use or disclose personal data:

    • – with your consent;

– where your consent can reasonably be inferred from your actions for the purpose you provided the information;
– where collection, use or disclosure is needed to carry out a transaction or request initiated by you; or
– where the PDPA or another law allows or requires us to do so without consent.

You may withdraw your consent by contacting us. We will explain any likely consequences and will stop the relevant collection, use or disclosure after reasonable notice, unless the law allows or requires us to continue.

Withdrawing consent does not affect personal data already collected, used or disclosed lawfully. It may also mean that we cannot continue providing a particular service—for example, we cannot deliver an order without a delivery address.

  •

5. Marketing communications

We may send you news, offers and product information if you have agreed to receive them or if the law otherwise permits us to do so.

You can opt out at any time by:

    • – using the unsubscribe option in an email;
    • – replying “STOP” or following the instructions in a marketing message, where available; or
    • – contacting us using the details below.

We may retain a limited suppression record so that we know not to send you further marketing.

For marketing calls or messages sent to Singapore telephone numbers, we will comply with the Do Not Call provisions of the PDPA, including checking the Do Not Call Registry where required. Service messages about an existing order, delivery, safety matter or customer enquiry are not marketing messages.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

Our website may use cookies, pixels and similar technologies to:

– operate essential website and checkout functions;

– remember your settings and shopping cart;

– understand website traffic and performance;

– improve our services; and

– measure or personalise advertising, where applicable.

    • You can manage cookies through your browser settings, and any cookie controls available on our website. Blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the website or checkout from working properly.

Where applicable law requires consent for non-essential cookies, we will request that consent before using them.

7. Who we may disclose personal data to

We may disclose personal data, where reasonably necessary, to:

    • – payment processors, banks and fraud-prevention providers;
– couriers, warehouses and logistics partners;
– website hosts, cloud-service providers, IT support and security providers;
– customer-service, email, communications, analytics and marketing providers;
– professional advisers, including lawyers, accountants, auditors and insurers;
– manufacturers, distributors and brand partners handling warranties, complaints, recalls or product-safety investigations;
– regulators, courts, law-enforcement agencies and other authorities where required or permitted by law; and
– prospective purchasers, investors or advisers involved in a proposed business transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality arrangements.

We take reasonable steps to ensure that service providers handling personal data for us use it only for the agreed purpose and provide an appropriate standard of protection.

8. Overseas transfers

Some of our service providers or business partners may store or process personal data outside Singapore.

Where personal data is transferred outside Singapore, we will take appropriate steps to ensure that the recipient provides a standard of protection comparable to that required under the PDPA. These steps may include contractual protections, due diligence and security requirements.

  •

9. Security and data breaches

We use reasonable administrative, physical and technical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the personal data we handle. These may include access controls, secure transmission, account-security measures, staff procedures, vendor management and secure disposal.

No website, transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You should use a strong, unique password and keep your login details confidential.

If a data breach occurs, we will assess it and notify the Personal Data Protection Commission and affected individuals where required by law.

  •

10. How long we keep personal data

We keep personal data only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, or for a legal or business purpose.

Retention periods depend on matters such as:

– the type of record;

– the order, warranty or customer relationship;

– legal, tax and accounting requirements;

– possible complaints or disputes;

– product-safety and regulatory requirements; and

– our backup and system-recovery arrangements.

Business and transaction records will generally be kept for at least five years from the relevant Year of Assessment or accounting period where required by Singapore tax law. Certain records may be retained for longer if another law, dispute, investigation, warranty or safety matter requires it.

When personal data is no longer required, we will delete it, anonymise it or remove the means by which it can be associated with an identifiable person, where reasonably practicable. Residual copies may remain in protected backups until those backups are securely overwritten or deleted under our normal retention cycle.

11. Your choices and rights

Subject to the PDPA and its exceptions, you may:

– ask for access to personal data that we hold about you;

– ask how we used or disclosed that personal data during the year before your request;

– ask us to correct an error or omission in your personal data;

– withdraw consent for a particular use or disclosure;

– opt out of marketing communications; or

– raise a question or complaint about our handling of your personal data.

We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

We will respond as soon as reasonably possible. If we cannot complete an access or correction request within 30 days, we will inform you in writing when we expect to respond. We may charge a reasonable fee for an access request after giving you a written estimate. We do not charge for correction requests.

The PDPA contains exceptions that may prevent us from providing particular information or making a requested change. We will explain our decision where reasonably appropriate.

The Singapore PDPA does not currently provide a general right to data portability or a standalone “right to be forgotten”. However, you may ask us to delete information, and we will consider the request in light of our legal and business retention obligations.

If another country’s privacy law applies to our dealings with you, you may have additional rights under that law. Please contact our Data Protection Officer so that we can assess your request.

12. Children and young people

Our website and services are not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly ask children under 18 to provide personal data or place orders independently.

If you are under 18, please use our services only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. If we learn that we have collected a child’s personal data without appropriate authorisation, we will take reasonable steps to delete it or obtain the necessary authorisation, unless the law requires us to retain it.

13. Third-party websites and platforms

    • Our website may link to websites, social media services, payment pages or other platforms operated by third parties. Those parties have their own privacy practices, and this Privacy Policy does not control how they handle personal data. You should review their privacy notices before providing information to them.

14. Changes to this Privacy Policy

  • We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our services, business practices or legal obligations.

The latest version will be published on our website with its effective date. If a change materially affects how we use personal data already collected, we will provide appropriate notice and obtain fresh consent where required. Continued use of our website will not, by itself, be treated as consent where the law requires express consent.
